Each spring, Spaulding Education Fund delivers hundreds of Golden Hornet awards to teachers, coaches and staff in the Manchester Essex Regional School District. This fundraiser allows local families to dedicate a Golden Hornet award to someone who has made a difference in their student’s school year.  Honorees come from all four public schools, the district's administration team, and the athletics department.

When a student awards a Golden Hornet, they make a $10 donation to Spaulding Education Fund. Their Golden Hornet recipient receives a golden hornet pin, a personalized dedication badge, and a certificate reflecting their words of gratitude.
